It is important to note that there are no banks or cash-points on Alicudi, the nearest bank is in Lipari (one and a half hours by hydrofoil). Cash-service is only offered in the post office and only to post-customers. In order to avoid any inconvenience it is, therefore recommended obtaining sufficient cash before departing for the island.
