• Mobile phones
  On Alicudi only the Italian-TUC mobile phones work. The GSM network does work, but coverage is variable.

• Transport
  Alicudi is the Eolian island lying furthest into open sea and therefore transport to and from the island is by sea. In stormy weather the ferries may not sail.
